Amy is a professional member of the prestigious Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), a member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and a member of New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).  She graduated from Muhlenberg College, magna cum laude, earned her Juris Doctorate at Seton Hall University School of Law and is a member of the NJ Bar.

Although Amy enjoyed the practice of law, she decided to obtain a teaching degree from William Paterson University and became a certified NJ teacher in 2006.  During this time, Amy discovered her passion for helping high school students prepare for the SATs and ACTs.

As more and more students asked Amy for help with their college applications, she expanded her services to include college advising.  After being accepted as an associate IECA member, she attended the Summer Training Institute, an intensive training program, where Amy learned the nuances of the college application process from experienced consultants; she has been helping students find their best fit colleges ever since.  Most students keep in touch with her and sometimes even come back to her for graduate school advice!

As a college advisor, Amy keeps up to date with the ever-changing college admissions scene by attending monthly roundtables with admissions representatives and participating in symposiums, webinars and conferences.  She also visits numerous college campuses each year.

Additionally, Amy volunteers her time at NJACAC events such as college fairs and “Camp College” where underprivileged students are assisted with the college process. She is also on the Business Advisory Board of Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley High Schools.

Amy lives in Franklin Lakes with her husband and two children.
